Hazmat Training

DGA Ltd. offers customized training at customer locations. All of our courses train employees who work with or around hazardous materials to perform their jobs safely, minimizing the risk of fines, personal injuries, and cargo claims.

Each course combines lectures, visual aids, worksheets, and question-and-answer sessions in an easy-to-follow format. Participants receive a comprehensive workbook with up-to-date hazardous materials information, on-the-job checklists, and current emergency response guidebook.  A full copy of the applicable regulations will be available for purchase.

49 CFR covers the laws for packaging and shipping requirements. The Department of Transportation requires training and certification for hazmat employees who handle hazardous materials in for the purpose of transportation of said materials.

To help companies comply with these requirements DGA Ltd. provides consulting and in-house training classes customized to the types of product your company ships. The DOT requires that any employee who handles hazmat as a part of their job function with the packaging of, the transport of, or receiving of must be trained in general awareness and job specific functions of the applicable regulations.

We have been consulting and teaching seminars on preparing hazardous material shipments since 1993. DGA Ltd. is a company that specializes in training for the safe transportation of hazardous materials.

Each student will be trained, tested and certified. Our instructors have over 20 years working knowledge of regulations, documentation, packaging, marking, labeling, segregation, and other requirements to help you legally prepare, inspect, and or ship dangerous goods by highway, air, rail or ocean.

If you have 4 or more people to train it may be less expensive for us to come to you instead of sending your staff. Minimum charge $2500.00 for up to 10 people plus travel expenses.

• ABOVE 15 AT $350.00 EACH

DGA-LTD will provide the manuals, test and certificates for each attendee.
